Hey guys I m a newbie to itch list but a long time adventure seeker. I have done PADI Open Water Diving and Advanced OWD courses on a small island called Koh tao, Thailand. I can provide end to end information and planning a trip. This island is one of the best palaces to learn scuba diving. Just google Koh Tao to know why. I have learnt with the school Davy Jones Locker; http://www.scubadivekohtao.com/. I want to go back hopefully soon to do a 2 month long dive master course. Chao
@Jeetendra, there are plenty depending on where you want to dive. Just ensure the agency you go through is PADI certified. If you know the location where you want to dive, I am happy to recommend an opeartor there.
And you can do it in India - Tarkali in Maharashtra, Netrani in Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep islands
In case you didn't know, it is not necessary to know swimming to do an introductory guided scuba dive
"There’s nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean, except, when you finally see what goes on underwater, you’ll realize that you’ve been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent. “ – Dave Barry.

I agree with the Koh Tao suggestion. I went diving all around the Thailand islands, the training at Koh Tao stands out!
