Does anyone know of a weekend workshop to get the basics of coding in Delhi?
@Thaddea yes, Code Academy! Good luck!
Hi! Does anyone know a good platform to start learning coding ?
Good to hear that Dorothy, it takes so little to buy someone a meal. Sometimes we don't even think about it..
I live in a very rural area, everybody pretty much looks out for each other so there are not a whole lot of homeless people around BUT... Next month I go to Richmond Va and that's a whole different story! I will have many opportunities to scratch!
Its totally doable! I havent pre booked a journey since 2010, and it works fine. I've never had any problems finding accommodation or company. I've travelled in peak season and off-season.
A few tips: For Accommodation - Chaweng Beach is the best to stay at in Koh Samui (action packed, resourceful). Sukhmvit is possibly a great place to stay in Bangkok. For tours, activities and internal travel - getting last minute bookings is not a problem at all.
Hey Archie, December is usually peak season in Thailand. This means - tourists pre book, higher rates. So while there are better months in the year to travel without prior bookings, you can still be able to manage.
I have always travel with pre bookings done. This time I want to travel like a backpacker - with just one backpack and no prior bookings done.. Planning Thailand (Bangkok and Koh Samui) this December. Any tips on whether this is doable given the season?
looking forward to experience this ;)

Hello. Does anyone want to have a chat about this? :) Thougts about it if you have any, dreams maybe :)

Hi Prateek, thanks for the info! Do you know the website or any other details about this Della adventures?
Hey, you can sort of Bungee jump in Della adventures, Lonavala. It's nothing close to the bungee jump in RIshikesh but will still give you a feel I suppose :)
Where can one bungee jump in or around Mumbai?
I have been to this place in Rishikesh. But i dint do the activity there.... Nice place and good people. Almost 20 km inside the jungle from Rishikesh
hi friends if you will come to Jaipur so most welcome my elephants home . I hope you will enjoy to much my elephant village home .
The most deadly is the one in New Zealand, me thinks
Gayetri, you can bungee jump in Rishikesh. One of our memebers did it there, you can read his story - http://www.theitchlist.com/storiesofus/3-2-1-bungee/
where can i bunjee jump in India?
The Macau Tower is currently the world’s highest bungee jump (764 feet). If I am going to bungee I may as well do it from there, coz it'll only be done once!
Jumping from a height of 83 meters while you are attached to an elastic cord is an experience for the most brave hearted . This sport has become increasingly popular in India with the Bungee Jumping Festival being conducted in association with Jean Pascal in Bangalore.
Operated by Jump Masters from New Zealand, Jumping heights in Rishikesh, India (83m above ground level) is very popular among youngsters who dare to challenge themselves.
OH yes.. You can shoot an AK 47, M 16 and machine guns in Cambodia. In their capital city Phnom Penh and also in Siem Reap. They also let you shoot a rocket launcher, I believe but its quiet expensive! Should be!
I agree with the Koh Tao suggestion. I went diving all around the Thailand islands, the training at Koh Tao stands out!
It's whole other experience! The whole world of Finding Nemo comes alive and swims around you!
Thanks a ton, Kalyan. I may get in touch with you soon!
Hey guys I m a newbie to itch list but a long time adventure seeker. I have done PADI Open Water Diving and Advanced OWD courses on a small island called Koh tao, Thailand. I can provide end to end information and planning a trip. This island is one of the best palaces to learn scuba diving. Just google Koh Tao to know why. I have learnt with the school Davy Jones Locker; http://www.scubadivekohtao.com/. I want to go back hopefully soon to do a 2 month long dive master course. Chao
@Jeetendra, there are plenty depending on where you want to dive. Just ensure the agency you go through is PADI certified. If you know the location where you want to dive, I am happy to recommend an opeartor there.
Are there some registered agencies through which Scuba can be done
Goa also - though it's not beautiful as Andamans
And you can do it in India - Tarkali in Maharashtra, Netrani in Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep islands
In case you didn't know, it is not necessary to know swimming to do an introductory guided scuba dive
"There’s nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean, except, when you finally see what goes on underwater, you’ll realize that you’ve been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent. “ – Dave Barry.
aah :( Yeah since the season is getting over and there was some unrest with the taxi mafia I believe. So people must be flocking there now
but this year its all booked so cant make it
I really wish to
Thanks for the tips Sushant! Are you doing a bike ride?
2 primary locations to begin the trip are manali and delhi. either of the trips would be approximately 2 weeks long. if interested i'll post more details here.
hey people. if anyone wishes to scratch off this itch sooner than later, i plan to scratch it within next 1 month rather than waiting for a year. the last trip leaves by the 3rd week of september. and if a minimum of 18 people are ready we can get our own trip.
For a more competitive pursuit, there's The Raid De Himalaya -- an endurance testing, weeklong race on two wheels from Shimla to Leh.
The Adventure of biking to Khardung la Pass (Leh), the highest motorable pass in the world is one of those things that has made it everyone's itch list.
