@Juhi, in Andheri East you can try Matoshri Arts swimming pool and Shere-Punjab Gymkhana but I guess you need to know a member. Else, if you're willing to travel a little Andheri Sports complex in Andheri West is great and so is Ozone in Goregaon West. Good luck!
Can you guys help me with pools where I can learn swimming in Andheri(E) Mumbai?
I have started learning swimming. Got hold of breast stroke , not need to work on free style
swimming is the best way to keep you fit. Especially in summer time. It is also a great stress reliever.
Good to hear that Amit! I think stamina will take a little more time. Most people have a problem managing breathing.. if your techniques are good, stamina will build up
I am learning swimming for last 15 days. Now I am able to swim but get tired very soon.... Trying hard to increase my stamina
Thankfully, I learnt when I was a kid :) Must learn people, don't panic in water - human beings are natural swimmers. Don't be afriad! <3
I was really scared of going into the pool.. Began learning few months back on my own.. Half way there. Now I can swim in an open sea!! Nd loving beaches more than ever!! :)
Isha, same here!!
m hydrophobic :| so want to learn
Swimming is also the best exercise!
Snorkeling is the practice of swimming underwater equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel and fins. It's really just swimming without being bothered about breathing underwater.
Beginners can start with snorkelling too -
I am just scared of water! :O
Here's a list of pools and swimming coaching in all parts of Mumbai - http://mumbaimornings.com/2014/11/04/youre-only-one-swim-away-from-a-good-mood/
This is the place you shouldn't miss if you are visiting Amritsar. If you're going on a weekend go early (reach by 2-3pm) an grab a seat in the front to witness the events. The ceremony is a well-rehearsed impressive show. The noise levels which you will witness make you feel that you are in packed cricket stadium. True patriotic feeling!
